Fenix's Secret

Was so flattered to be complimented so much when I wore this outfit,people asking me where I got my pieces and for tips and stuff. Believable or not this whole outfit cost me less than R100!! Fenix's secret? Thrift shopping. But this isn't anything new, there's a lot of us impulsive and obsessive thrifters, but most people are afraid because it does include a high risk factor. How do I do it?

1. Pray before you go into the store- 2nd hand and thrift stores aren't guaranteed to have special pieces all the time,and they're mostly hidden, so just ask God to point you in the right direct..I believe I'm lucky coz God wants me to have nice things, haha :)

2. Push the bargain- 2nd hand and vintage store cashiers are usually nice and lenient (side-note: you've better chances if you're a regular), why not save extra bucks? 

3. Think outside the box- see a pair of dowdy mans jeans and think what gems you can turn them into..which brings me to- 

4. Create your own- distress,cut up,tweak..unleash the seamstress in you

5. Confidence- unorthodox outfit acquired in unorthodox ways, you need to deal how awesome and unique you look and not be self-conscious- because that's a definite outfit-spoiler.

With that done, elevate your wardrobe while putting a smile on your wallet's face,
